On Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24, you will help our exhibitors load in their materials and/or help them load out their materials. You will help direct people and their materials to the right spot. Maps and a dolly or hand cart will be available to help guide exhibitors. This job requires a lot of physical ability and stamina as there is much walking and movement of materials.

As a “What’s Next” Resource Guide Distributor/Festival Fundraising Representative, you will be partnered with one other volunteer and stand at one of the six gates. One volunteer will hand a What’s Next resource guide to the exiting visitor, and the other volunteer will ask the exiting visitor if they would like to donate to the Festival and provide them with a Festival Button. The donation is totally optional and low-key.

During the week of March 17-24, you will pick one or more of a select group of Festival Week events, attend the event with a UC San Diego staff member, and serve as an event host. You will need to arrive 1/2 hour before the event, assist with last-minute set-up details, if any, and greet the general public, and assist with dissemination and collection of program evaluations.
